Biography

Evan Whale is a Los Angeles-based artist whose work uses experimental photographic techniques to create an expanded biographical view of the Southern Californian landscape. Whale received his BFA in Photography from Bard College and his MFA in Photography at Yale University. Whale has exhibited internationally and throughout the United States, including at Regen Projects (LA), The Flag Arts Foundation (NY), and Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac (Paris). Whale is represented in Los Angeles by Tyler Park Presents, and will be featured in their upcoming booth at Felix Art Fair. Whale's next planned solo presentation is in November 2024.
